Updated: November 20, 2020 — Please check back often as information may change quickly.

Visitor restrictions help us keep you, your loved ones and our employees as safe as possible during COVID-19. Below you’ll find current restrictions for our hospitals and clinics.

Visitor restrictions may change as the COVID-19 pandemic develops. If you're unsure of a certain location's visitor policy, please contact the facility before visiting. View contact info for all locations.

Adult Hospitals

Visitor restrictions: Based on the latest guidance from Governor Newsom and the California Department of Public Health, we will no longer be allowing visitors in any of our adult hospitals. Adult hospitals include the Medical Center, East Campus, Surgical Hospital and Medical Center - Murrieta. The following humanitarian guidelines apply:

  • Humanitarian exception requests will be routed through clinical leadership. Only one visitor may be present at bedside. Conflicts may be escalated to the Chief of Staff or her designee.
  • End of Life: one visitor will be allowed to be present with the patient.
  • For patients with physical, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities, or cognitive impairments, one support person will be allowed to be present with the patient when medically necessary and may remain at the bedside.

Although the decision to limit visitors is difficult, the safety of our employees and patients remains our top priority. We will make every effort to connect patients with their family/caregiver virtually when possible.

Visitor restrictions: Visitors are not allowed at our clinic locations unless a patient needs help getting around or communicating with their provider. One parent is allowed during a child's appointment.
